Scholarships

Each year, the North Carolina Association of Zoning Officials (NCAZO) awards up to two scholarships in the amount of $500.00 per scholarship.  Scholarships are awarded through a random drawing at the Annual Conference Banquet and Awards Ceremony.

There are two types of scholarships available.  One scholarship is awarded to a traditional student attending college.  To apply, the student applicant must be the child of an NCAZO member in good standing.   The other scholarship is awarded to a non-traditional student to further academic studies, such as pursuing a college degree or Ph.D.

To apply for the non-traditional student scholarship, the applicant must be a member of NCAZO and be in good standing.

To apply for the NCAZO Scholarship Program, applicants must complete an application form.  Applications must be received by July 1 for consideration.  Applicants need not be present to win.
